Do we still have time to grow out of what has been haunting us? Can other people be going through similar phases in their lives?
It seems like
The streetlights glowing
happen to be
just like moments passing in front of me
And I’d love to merely park, and see
All that is awaiting ahead of me
All that I’m prepared for in this journey
As I stare
The bright side hits my eyes with a glare
So profound yet so simple and bare
To fly, thinking, is it really unfair?
But instead, I cry
And ask myself why?
I realized, I am here on my own
I’m carrying myself and the world on this throne
Thriving to be known
And not merely buried between stones.
We, cannot live life through eternity
But we can make the lessons last centuries.
The artist is the teacher
The artist is the storyteller
The artist is the preacher
The artist is the law bender
I am here to send this message
To help our planet and save it from wreckage
