Benjamin Zand is an original, creative and provocative filmmaker-slash-reporter-slash-journalist for the BBC from Liverpool, UK. He is British-Iranian, grew up in Liverpool, UK and is a keen traveler. The Royal Television Society has awarded him the \Young Talent of the Year journalism award in 2016 for his awesome work and documentaries.
In 2016, Benjamin traveled to Sudan to shoot a documentary about the brighter and promising sides of Sudan, the ones that do not make it to the “global” news. Nas With Notepads is humbled that he chose our fam to be feature our events and several of our poets in his upcoming documentary (fingers crossed).
